Welcome to Playa Vista
Home to global tech giants and stunning beaches, Playa Vista perfectly blends work and play.
Playa Vista is a neighborhood located on the western edge of Los Angeles, California. The area, along with Venice and Santa Monica, is commonly referred to as Silicon Beach due to its popularity as a location for the world’s best technology, media, and entertainment industries. Tech giants like Yahoo, Facebook, and Microsoft all call Playa Vista home.
Playa Vista is a sought-after destination in its own right. Premier shopping, upscale restaurants, lush open spaces, thrilling recreation, lively entertainment, a bustling tech hub, and both established and new residential areas combined together to redefine life in Playa Vista.
Playa Vista was the epicenter of Howard Hughes' aviation business for many years. However, when master-planned Brookfield Residential invested millions into Playa Vista, Silicon Valley’s largest tech and entertainment companies sought to find commercial space in the neighborhood. Now, Playa Vista sees exponential growth every year, with young families, industry professionals, and retirees making roots inside the community’s neighborhoods, which feature a range of housing options such as spacious single-family homes and amenity-rich condominiums.
